NZTA have issued an update on the Waitematā Harbour Connections project. In the update they review the public feedback and give details of the emerging preferred option. Under the preferred option SH1 general traffic will be moved into tunnels and the current number of lanes on the existing AHB will be reduced. There will be no increase in the existing number of peak direction vehicle lanes. Read the full update in the link below.
