Labour have announced plans for the Harbour Crossing that could cost $45billion. Two new 3 lane road tunnels under the Waitemata Harbour, and a separate light rail tunnel that will link to the existing Auckland Light Rail corridor. Additional busway, driving and cycling and walking capacity will be created on the existing Harbour Bridge. You can read the NZ Herald article here
