Auckland Transport’s new CEO Dean Kimpton aims to lift public transport patronage by 25% during 2023. Mr Kimpton wants to restore public transport patronage to the 100 million trips or more that the network carried annually pre Covid-19. It is now scheduled to hit 80 million.
