Auckland Transport (AT) is expanding its Fareshare scheme which gives employers a way of subsidising a proportion of their staff’s public transport commuting costs. The scheme was initiated by Genesis Energy when they relocated to Wynyard Quarter. There are options for 5 or 7 day travel at a subsidised rate of 25, 50 or 75%. The employee signs up for the scheme through their employer and are then charged the discounted rate on their HOP card.
